Welcome to Tatemados, a Phoenix, Arizona taco haven born from the traditions of Sonora, Mexico. Established in January 2023 by Javier, Gerardo, and Jose, three friends from Sonora, who brought their mission to honor their Sonoran roots and highlight the Sonoran tradition of grilling. Sonoran carne asada, famous worldwide, has a history dating back to the Sierra de Sonora cowboys who grilled beef using mesquite wood, seasoned with only salt and tortillas, and spiced up with wild red chiltepines
